Care That Fits Together
Plenty of people start out looking for a prescription. What helps is usually a team: someone to talk to every week, a clear answer from an evaluation, and medication when it belongs in the picture. All three happen here.
Start wherever you are. The other pieces are already here if you need them.
Individual, couples, family, child, and teen therapy with a clinician matched to what you are dealing with.
Comprehensive ADHD, autism, and personality evaluations with a written report you keep.
Prescribing care in house for ages 16 and up, with or without counseling here. In person at Holland and Jenison, or by telehealth statewide.
Our Clinicians
Licensed counselors, clinical social workers, and psychologists across nine offices and telehealth statewide. Our intake coordinator matches you with someone who works with your concern every week, not whoever has an opening.

What We Work With
Our clinicians specialize rather than generalize, so you are matched with someone who works with your concern every single week.
How It Works
No referral paperwork and no guessing about who to call. Here is what happens after you reach out.
Fill out the short form or call 616.295.8284. Tell us what you are looking for, including whether medication is part of it.
Our intake coordinator reads every request personally, then matches you with a clinician who fits your concern, your location, and your schedule.
Usually within 7 daysYour first sessions are about understanding what you are dealing with, then deciding what actually helps: therapy, an evaluation, medication, or a combination.
Prescribing happens in house, for ages 16 and up. Medication visits are in person at Holland and Jenison, or by telehealth if another office is closer to you. No outside referral, and no starting over somewhere new.
You have probably already put off this call for a while. We have tried to make the next part as easy as it can be.
EMDR for trauma. CBT for anxiety. DBT-informed care for teens. Bilingual therapy in Spanish. You get depth, not just a listening ear.
You get a clinician who knows your concern and is near you. If the first match is not right, we help you find another.
No waiting on records to transfer between practices, and no chasing separate front desks to get scheduled.
Counseling happens at whichever of our nine offices suits you. Medication visits are in person at Holland and Jenison, or by telehealth if that is the easier trip.

Not a psychiatrist. Prescribing is handled by a certified physician assistant (PA-C), a licensed medical provider who evaluates symptoms and prescribes medication. Therapy and testing are provided by our licensed counselors, clinical social workers, and psychologists.
If you specifically need a psychiatrist, tell our intake team and they can talk through your options with you.
Teens 16 and up and adults. Medication appointments are in person at Holland and Jenison, or by telehealth anywhere in Michigan. Therapy is available at all nine offices and testing is available at six offices.
No. You do not have to be in counseling at Hope & Wholeness to receive medication management services. If you are also seeing a therapist at our office, your medication management can be coordinated with your therapist, helping your care team work together to support your overall well-being. This collaborative approach is one of the benefits many clients appreciate.
If you see a therapist outside of Hope & Wholeness, we can still provide medication management. With your authorization, we can obtain a Release of Information (ROI) and coordinate care with your outside therapist as appropriate.
If you are not currently in counseling, that's okay too! Let our intake team know what you're looking for, and they can help you understand your options. While counseling is not required for medication management, having both services can provide a more comprehensive and connected approach to your healing.
Yes. Many people start with counseling and revisit medication once they and their therapist have a clearer picture. Because prescribing happens here, adding it later does not mean another search.
No outside referral is needed. Use the form on this page, or call 616.295.8284.
We are in network with most major Michigan plans for therapy. Coverage for medication management depends on your specific plan, so our intake team verifies your benefits before your first appointment.
If you do not have insurance, ask us about sliding scale and payment options.
Our psychologists offer comprehensive ADHD evaluations in person at six West Michigan offices: a clinical interview, standardized assessment, and a written report you keep.
Testing, counseling, and medication management all happen in the same practice, so once you are scheduled, your clinician can be brought up to speed on your evaluation.
Maybe medication has been on your mind for a while. Maybe you are trying to get help for someone you love and do not know where to begin. One conversation is a good place to start, and our intake coordinator follows up within 24 hours.
