About Anne Volkers, LPC

Anne works will all gender expressions, sexual orientations, races, and religions. She finds the most success with those who have decided that they are ready and committed to learning about themselves and starting their new journey of growth, trusting the therapeutic process together.

Anne specializes individual therapy with anxiety and depression in older teens and adults as well as parents in the perinatal period. She utilizes individual blends of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy dependent on the needs on the individual. Anne enjoys using creative expression both in therapy and on her own.

Anne knows how hard it can be to take the plunge into the unknown and vulnerability that therapy offers. She looks forward to the chance to trust the process together with her clients in exploring and learning about oneself and the world around us in a safe and non-judgmental space.

:Anne's Background

Anne completed her Bachelors in Psychology from Central College in 2019 and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Aquinas College in 2022. She specializes in individual therapy with anxiety and depression in adults as well as parents in the perinatal period. She utilizes individual blends of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy dependent on the needs of the individual.

My youngest son saw a therapist here and she was wonderful with him. My husband and I also have seen 2 therapist here and both helped us tremendously. We learned helpful tools to apply in real life situations in our marriage and individually. I would recommend this place to anyone 💚

I had been searching for a counselor when Hope & Wholeness had been mentioned as a possible fit. They were so right. Dr. Duckworth was amazing. He took the time to explore who i was, what was important to me, and what I needed. He helped me address many things from my past and take on things as they came. When our schedules conflicted I was able to meet with someone else and continue to get the help and support I needed. Cannot say enough good things about the staff.

I have had nothing but good experiences working with Hope & Wholeness! Easy on boarding and flexibility for in person or telehealth visits! Emily is phenomenal! And my kids see Kelley and Michelle and both love them! This facility has been influential in supporting our family's mental health.
