Hi, I’m Teresa Fetterley, a master’s level psychologist and EMDR therapist passionate about helping people find hope, healing, and restoration. My practice is to walk alongside individuals as they navigate the challenges of trauma, anxiety, and emotional pain—offering a safe and supportive space where healing can begin.
My Approach
I believe healing happens within a compassionate and trusting relationship. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Informed CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. These approaches help clients process painful experiences, gain insight, and develop tools to live with greater peace and resilience.
Who I Work With
I work with adults who have experienced childhood and/or adult trauma, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, anxiety, or depression. I understand that taking the first step toward therapy can feel uncertain, which is why I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This gives you an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about how I work, and determine if we’re a good fit.
My Background
Over the course of my career, I’ve been privileged to support individuals through some of life’s most difficult seasons. In addition to my clinical work, I’ve led adult groups on topics such as Boundaries and Safe People, and I present Human Trafficking trainings for schools, colleges, and community organizations. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the many forms trauma can take—and the strength it takes to heal from it.
A Message from Me
I believe each person has immense worth and the capacity to heal. My role is to come alongside you with compassion, honesty, and hope as you work toward the life you desire. Whether you’re just beginning your healing journey or continuing a process already underway, I would be honored to walk with you.
