I have had the passion of helping others from a very young age. I began caring for youth when I was 18 years old when I started working at a daycare center and as a nanny. My passion continued to grow when I went off to college and was an intern for a mom’s group. During this time, I worked with children and families. My journey in the mental health field began and I grew to love helping others be the best them they can be. This was the point in my life when I realized I wanted to help youth and young adults.
I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work with a minor and Psychology from Central Michigan University and my Masters of Social Work from Grand Valley State University. Post-graduation, I became a Licensed Masters of Social Worker and began working as a behavioral health therapist providing individual therapy.
I live in Muskegon with my husband and son. We love being outside and taking advantage of what the Muskegon area has to offer. I enjoy spending my free time with my friends and family, laughing or making others laugh, and eating good food.
