About Heather Jennings, MA, LLPC

Heather Jennings is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Cornerstone University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.

Heather has a special interest in working with girls and young women with ADHD, as well as individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, parenting challenges, and relationship concerns. She enjoys helping clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, regulate their nervous systems, and gain confidence in their ability to navigate everyday life.

Heather utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based approach while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She recognizes the important connection between the mind and body and helps clients develop greater awareness of their nervous system responses to stress, overwhelm, and emotional challenges. Heather believes counseling is a collaborative process and strives to create a supportive, encouraging environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow.

Heather's Story:

Outside of counseling, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, exercising, walking on the beach, shelling, traveling, and creating faith-based and mental health content designed to encourage and support others.
