About Kelley Nawrot (Charles), LLMSW

Welcome!

I am a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Master’s of Social Work. I provide counseling for children, teenagers, young adults and new mothers.

I have years of experience working directly with children – including working with children in the foster care system, caring for children in the public school system, and supporting children in a therapeutic manner. My goal is to work with individuals who need guidance in the struggles of life. I am open to all walks of life and strive to create a supportive mentorship role with all of my clients.

I specialize in working with Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, Mood Disorders and ADHD. I am working on completing training for Postpartum Depression as well.

About Kelley:

I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I moved to the Grand Rapids area to complete my Master’s degree and fell in love with the area. From a young age, I knew I was destined to work alongside children. After exploring teaching and childcare, I found my calling of being a therapist. I love working one-on-one with children and individuals. When working with children, I find it is essential to create a positive relationship with parents/guardians, as we are working as a team.

In my free time I enjoy baking, watching movies, and traveling. When I am not working, you can find me going on adventures with my husband or hanging at home with my cat Pippy.
